A joint statement released by the group at the time said it agreed with Young’s concerns that Rogan was spreading “dangerous misinformation” about the COVID-19 pandemic via his podcast.
“While we always appreciate alternative views, knowingly spreading disinformation during this global pandemic has deadly consequences,” the group wrote. “Until real action is taken to demonstrate that concern for humanity must be balanced with commerce, we don’t want our music, or the music we have created together, to be on the same platform.”
To mitigate the impact of the return, CSN, 50, said it would donate the streaming revenue “to COVID-19 charities for at least a month,” the magazine said. Crosby, Stills & Nash formed in 1968 and Young joined a year later.
The group has not worked since 2015.
