“Sherwood” renewed for season 2 by the BBC

The BBC premiered its second season sherwood A Brexit: uncivil war Y Trial Creator James Graham, after the completion of the first.

The first series of the Whodunnit thriller ended on BBC One in the last few minutes, and the network got involved, after millions of viewers watched the Juliet Howell and Tessa Ross-sponsored independent drama production program at BBC Studios each week.

Graham said he was “deeply shocked” by the reaction to the first season.

“These stories come from my home and I want to specifically express my gratitude to my community, for which I know these topics can be difficult, but hopefully important to learn,” he added. “Areas like East Midland and the old red wall are never just one thing, politically or culturally, and it has been an honor in my life to give voice and character to the place I love.”

Having made his way as a playwright, Graham became one of Britain’s leading television writers, writing BAFTA-nominated writers. Brexit: uncivil war Y Trial with an episode ᲒCrown.

He will write all six episodes of the second series with executive producer Howell, Ross, Harriet Spencer and BBC director Ben Irving. Irving was commissioned by the BBC’s chief content officer, Charlotte Moore. BBC Studios is a distributor.
