Rowling was tricked into calling Zoom by Russian comedian duo Vovan and Lexus, who score high on their list of pranks like Kamala Harris and Prince Harry. Rowling thought she was speaking to President Vladimir Zelensky.
The camera went out on the Russian side of Zoom Call. Rowling was hoping to talk about charity work in Ukraine. However, the comic duo said the Ukrainians wrote “Avada Kedavara” on their rockets, indicating the deadliest witchcraft spell.
Rowling said it was a brilliant idea.
From there it went downhill when the duo asked if Dumbledore had slept with a transgender man, pointing out another big mistake from Rowling.
