Coca-Cola is completely out of the Russian market
Coca-Cola HBC (Coca-Cola Hellenic), the distributor of Coca-Cola in Russia, announced that it has decided to cease the production and sale of branded beverages in Russia. Reported by “Kommersant”.
The company said in a statement that the distributor’s customers in Russia are currently “in the process of running out of stock.” Once stocks are depleted, the company will “no longer manufacture or sell Coca-Cola or other Coca-Cola Company brands in Russia.” Now ten factories of the company operate in Russia.
Coca-Cola produces HBC, Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes, Powerade, Burn, BonAqua beverages, as well as Dobry, Pulpy, Rich, My Family, Innocent and other juices.
In March, the company announced that it was suspending its operations in Russia during a Russian military special operation in Ukraine. Later, the CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, James Quincy, said that he did not exclude the company’s complete withdrawal from the Russian market in the future.
