Netflix has released its new Halftime documentary about Jennifer Lopez. The picture tells about the singer’s path to fame and the difficult life circumstances that she had to endure. Furthermore, the star also revealed about her relationship with her mother. The singer describes him as a difficult person, but states that their relationship has gotten a lot better as she ages. “My mom did what she had to do to survive, and it made her both strong and tough. She drove me crazy,” Lopez admitted.

Singer Guadalupe Rodriguez’s mother immigrated from Puerto Rico to the Bronx (USA), where she raised three daughters with her husband, David. Jennifer’s parents divorced when their daughters grew up. “I always had the highest expectations of them. It was just to show them that they could do better. To be honest with Jennifer it was hard for me. We argued a lot, ”said the singer’s mother.
The singer’s mother insisted that her children receive an education. “My mom said, ‘You have to get an education if you’re going to live in this house.’ We had a big fight one night and I just left home,” recalls J. Lo.
“I wasn’t a perfect mother. But I can say that everything I did was for their benefit,” said Rodriguez, justifying her difficult upbringing.
Despite all the hardships and difficulties that Jennifer Lopez had to endure, she really managed to succeed: she acts in films, writes music, and now the actress is happy in a relationship. Ben Affleck recently proposed to Jennifer Lopez 20 years after a broken engagement. The couple spends a lot of time together and prepares for the wedding with all their might.
