When it gets cold outside, you want to wrap yourself in a blanket and stay inside, but TikTok offers a different scenario. Social network users are massively discussing a new trend: the 90-day Winter Arc challenge helps to shake things up, put things in order in your life and celebrate the New Year in a better way, physically, mentally and emotionally.

The idea for this challenge came from blogger Carly Burgess. He explains that fall and early winter are often times of decline when we take our foot off the gas. But according to Carly, you still have three months left to change your habits and prepare for January 1 as a renewed version of yourself. “The Winter Arc is about adapting, setting goals, and being super focused on your goals, your personal development, your growth, so that when the first of January comes around, you show up in a completely different way,” says Burgess.
Challenge participants set goals for the last 90 days of the year, from improving health and finances to building relationships and increasing productivity. The main rule is not to promise yourself the impossible, but to choose 3-4 realistic tasks and divide them into daily and weekly steps. So, if the goal is to strengthen friendship, you can write to your friends every day and arrange joint coffee breaks or meetings on weekends.
For example, Burgess plans to wake up at 5:30 a.m., stick to an exercise and nutrition schedule, journal twice a day, and finish four books before the end of the year. According to him, consistency is the key to success. Therefore, it is important to create an environment that will help you not give up: create a schedule, think about your diet, find a suitable gym, and even distance yourself from toxic people.
Experts note that the “Winter Arc” can be a gentle alternative to the usual New Year’s resolutions, which often wear off by February. Setting goals for October-December makes the personal development process smoother and more achievable.
By the way, we previously wrote about the 4×4 ritual until 16:00, which has become an autumn trend for those who want energy without coffee. Read more here.
