If you’ve ever thought about The lost boys the musical would never happen, think again. The 1987 cult vampire classic is officially coming to Broadway, and the cast list was just released along with the opening date. It’s time to sharpen your fangs or grab hold of your stakes, because it’s really happening.
The Broadway musical adaptation of The lost boys will debut at the Palace Theater in New York City on April 26, 2026, with previews starting March 27, 2026.
The project was born from the producers Giacomo Carpinello, Marco ChaitAND Patrick Wilson (The evocation movie).
The show presents a story of The lost boys screenwriters James Jeremias AND Janice Roberta Fischerwith a book of David Hornsby AND Chris Hoch. The music and lyrics are by The Rescues and the direction comes from them Michael Ardenthe two-time Tony Award winner whose latest project, Maybe happy endingI just won the Tony for Best Musical.
