How can work in the garden improve mental health?

Karen Heini, the Hard Therapy University in Long Beach, writes: “Studies show that 20-30 minutes of work in the garden can reduce stress and improve the mood several times a week and how regular work in the garden can bring.”

It facilitates symptoms of anxiety and depression, and also helps to gain calm, determination and emotions of fulfilling.

During a study, he reported that intentionally participating in horticulture, strengthening social ties, reducing stress levels and increasing fiber consumption by about 7%.

This course has been proven to reduce risk factors of some physical and mental illness, including depression, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and cancer. Working participants also reported that they were not observed for 42 minutes per week and those who did not do horticulture.
