Lionsgate is accumulating the fear factor for their next psychological thriller The long walk With a new featurette that brings marketing to a completely new level by literally monitoring the biometric responses of the public.
In a newly fallen video entitled “Biometrics Screening”, the spectators are shown by reacting to the film in real time while their heart rate descend to the stars. A chilling culminating point? An impulse that reaches over 200 bpm, which the video bravely confronts “the equivalent of the body of a combat pilot under 9 g of force”. It is not only frightening, it is intense.
This only promo prepares the ground for one of the most exhausting and psychologically accused Stephen King Adaptations that we have seen for years.

The story is set in a gloomy future in which 100 teenagers are forced to compete in a brutal resistance race called Long Walk. The rules? Keep walking on top four miles per hour. Slow too much, take three warnings in an hour and you are running on the spot. Only a boy wins and gets everything he wants for the rest of his life.
As Lionsgate describes it, the long walk is “an intense, chilling and emotional thriller that challenges the audience to confront a disturbing question: how far could you go?”
Despite the stakes, the boys form deep and complicated bonds while march through the choices of life or death. Friendships are also forged because each knows the other’s survival threatens their own.
