While rising to the summit of the victory in Kyrgyzstan, Russian climbing Natalya Nagovitsyna, stuck at a height of more than 7,000 meters, was officially considered as missing. Their calls took almost two weeks, but it didn’t work. We tell you what is known about the woman.

Natalia Nagovitsina, a Russian climber with ten years of climbing, conquered a few thousand and discovery trips. He was born on August 20, 1977 in Perm Region and graduated from the Faculty of Geographical University and worked at the Department of Biojeoceneology and Nature Protection. In 2016, he actively began to engage in mountaineering and had a second category in this sport.
For many years, Nagovicin climbed Elbrus, the summit of Nagovicin, Ismoil Samani and Han-Etengri. During the lifting to Han Tengri in 2021, his husband Servey survived a paralysis of more than 6800 meters. Natalia stayed with him until the rescuers arrived, but it was not possible to save his wife. A year later, he returned to the mountain to build a monument plate in his honor.
In August 2025, Natalia climbed to the Zafer Summit, the most dangerous summit of Tien Shan, 7439 meters high. He broke his leg at a height of about 7100 meters and has been extremely difficult since then. Liberation initiatives were complex due to weather conditions and the helicopters could not reach the climber. Italian Luke Sinalya, one of the savior, died during the mission.

Despite the participation of the international team and the use of thermal viewers and drones, Nagovicina’s life had no symptoms. The Ministry of Emergency of Kyrgyzstan officially recognized its losses and local authorities said it was almost impossible to evacuate a person from this height.
The summit of the victory is considered as one of the most deadly seven thousandth of the old USSR: every twelve climber that reached the summit does not return. The main causes of mortality are called a high disease disease that can cause avalanches, falls and swelling of the lungs and brain, freezing and exhaustion.
During the publication, Natalya was more than ten days without communication with the outside world. The last confirmation of his life was on August 19, when the drone recorded him in a tent. The fate of the climber is unknown and the search and rescue operation was officially completed.
