Netflix finally presented the long -standing continuation of the cult series – the first four parts of Wensdei’s second season can already be watched. Critics unanimously say that the new “killer” secret and deep work of the characters fully justified fans’ expectations of three years.

Rotten tomatoes, the degree of the new season is 78% and is based on 27 professional examinations, which are higher than the indicators of the first section (73%). Daily Telegraph calls the continuation worthy of expectation and shows that the series maintains all the seriousness and depth of the original. In addition to the scenes between Wensdei (Jenna Ortega) and his mother Mortisha (Katherine Zeta-Jones), the appearance of Grandmother Esther Frapp, made by Joanna Lamley, received a special praise.
Tim Burton and Miles Millar and the Creators of the Alfred Gof series skillfully protected the registered gothic atmosphere by adding new interesting elements. In the second season, Wensdei returns to the Nevermore Academy, where his friend Enid Sinclair (Emma Mayers) received a scary vision about his possible death. Parallel, the follower needs to reveal his personality from the finals of the first season.
However, not all critics are satisfied – Hollywood Reporter believes that eccentric contributions have become very ordinary, and Wall Street Journal scolds the series to overload it with secondary parcels.
The remaining four episodes will be released on September 3 and Netflix has already announced the third season.
