Between August 28 – August 31, the city city will be the center of Russian cinematic life – Ferrum Film Festival will be held here for the second time. The event, which was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the local authorities, will unite cinema stars, directors and spectators from all over the country.

The festival was opened by “Zafer Bird of Zafer” in honor of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriot War. Julia Peresild and Mandragor Group will make songs of war years. The program includes premiere of new Russian films, retrospectives of Soviet classics, and special shows.
Particular attention is paid to children’s audiences. With the premiere of Finnik and Kidsariki, small spectators are waiting for shows. A open cinema will emerge in the facility park where George Danelia’s legendary films will be shown on the 95th anniversary of the director.



Evening concerts in Ferrum Square will have bright events of the festival. On August 29, the Notes Group will perform at the “Culture Chamber” on August 30th. Guests are also waiting for master lessons, campaign posters exhibitions and even exercises with actor Oleg Taktarov.
The festival will end with the participation of theater and film stars on August 31st with the “wider apartment”. Organizers emphasize that Ferrum’25 is not only a demonstration of new films, but also a large -scale cultural project that combines the love of cinema and generations.
