Guillermo del Toro has prepared the version of the cult story about Frankenstein, and Netflix has long been showing the first shots for a long time. The director, who received an Oscar for the “Water Form, gathered an impressive player by Mary Shelley’s adaptation of the classical novel.
Oscar Isaac will appear in the image of Viktor Frankenstein and played by Monster Euphoria’s star Jacob Elordi. In addition, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, Charles Dance and others participate in the project. The film promises to be a real activity for fans of gloomy, deep and visually refined species. The premiere is planned in November.
The new shots published in Vanity Fair reveal some details of images and places. In one of the paintings of Elordi, who plays the role of the monster, it hides a portion of the face behind the picture on the other side – it can only be seen in a shredded way. While the trailer emphasizes the physical power of the character of Elordi, it avoids showing its face, while new photos make it possible to think of at least some of the monster’s appearance. However, first of all, content -creatures plan to protect the main intrigues associated with appearance.
Costumers’ work deserves special attention. The image of the hero of Mia Goth – Elizabeth, the bride of Frankenstein, is particularly distinguished. In the frames, it appears in luxury clothes that emphasize the style and period in which events emerge.
In the meantime, in addition to Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi works in various projects at once: the Euphoria series and the adaptations of “exterior darkness” and “storm”.
