Emotional connection in text communication is developed by the use of emoji. This conclusion was reached by researchers from Texas University. The results were published by N+1.

During a study attended by 260 people, it was found that people perceived a more sensitive and friendly way that people perceived an interlocutor using emoji. The participants in the experiment were invited to evaluate the 15 text correspondence presented with their partners, emoji and without a message.
It turned out that the presence of emoji in correspondence positively affected the perception of the interlocutor regardless of the type of emogen used: whether imotic or other characters. Despite a relatively small example, working emojis can increase satisfaction with relationships.
Recently, it was known how Zukers changed emoji and why. This just looks like a closed club for itself.
