Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction) and Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) have joined the cast of Immortal Guard 2, the sequel to the hit action movie starring Charlize Theron. In addition to them, many of the heroes of the original movie will appear on the tape.
Victoria Mahoney (Scream to Heaven) replaces Gina Prince-Bythewood as the film’s director. The Greek Hand is again in charge of the script – adapting the second story from the original comic.
The first Immortal Guard proved to be one of the most successful feature films on Netflix, with 186 million hours watched in its first 28 days of release.
It was previously reported that Uma Thurman will star in Matthew Lopez’s movie “Red, White and Royal Blue” in which she will play US President Ellen Claremont. The story is based on the novel of the same name by Casey McQuiston. Taylor Zahar Perez, Nicholas Golitsin, Stephen Fry, Rachel Hilson and others will also appear in the movie.
