17-year-old Mirra Andreeva was the youngest winner of the WTA-1000 tournament in Dubai. He won his first title in this category in his career. This was reported by the Russian Tennis Federation.

Andreeva rose from the 14th line to 9 in the updated note of the Women’s Tennis Association. In the final of the WTA 1000 tournament, Denmark 7: 6 (7: 1) managed to walk around Clara Toson from 6: 1. For the athlete, this is the first WTA title in a single discharge in his career and in the WTA 1000 category.

Remember that in January last year, Mirra Andreev occupied 47 lines on the world’s most powerful tennis players (WTA degree) list. Already in July of that year, the 32nd place and won the first title of the Women’s Tennis Association. In August 2024, Andreev and Schneider received silver in a paired category in the Olympic games in Paris.
