Nancy Paradeisanou has expressed regret over a public comment she made about Eleni Peta, pointing to the attention the dispute received in digital media.
The disagreement between the two broke out in late July, triggered by remarks Tasos Iordanidis made in an interview with the journalist.
The YouTube statement
In content posted on her personal YouTube account, Paradeisanou addressed how events had unfolded. She said she had replied to Peta two days earlier, adding that she was embarrassed on Peta's behalf over what Peta had written about a much younger woman, someone who had not understood anything.
She said things might have been different if the woman had understood, and that she regretted replying to Peta because it then became a story on news sites.
Referring again to how the incident was picked up by the media, Paradeisanou added that she was truly embarrassed.
