Brazilian influencer Niina Secrets announced on Friday, September 18, that she suffered a pregnancy loss a little over a month ago. The businesswoman and content creator shared the news with her followers on social media, revealing that she was several weeks pregnant when the loss occurred.
Secrets said the unborn baby's heart stopped beating just over a month ago. She explained that although she has physically recovered from the loss, she carries deep pain and sadness in her heart after losing a child she already loved dearly and had planned to welcome into their family.
The creator said she thought carefully about whether to discuss the delicate moment with her followers. She explained that she ultimately decided to post about it because she found it too difficult to pretend that nothing had happened.
Coping With Pregnancy Loss
Secrets said she is still trying to find meaning in what happened, adding that every night she asks God to help her see a purpose in the ordeal. She said she prays that she will be able to become pregnant again in the future and expand their family.
She also addressed comments about grief, noting that she had always heard that pregnancy losses are common. While some people believe that already having a daughter makes such an experience easier, Secrets said that was not true for her.
She explained that knowing the depth of maternal love, which she had not fully understood during her first pregnancy, made this loss especially painful. Secrets said that only now can she truly empathize with others who have experienced pregnancy loss, adding that she feels deeply for them.

Along with her statement, Secrets shared photos documenting the pregnancy on social media. The images included the positive test from when she first discovered the pregnancy, photos showing her belly beginning to grow, and an ultrasound image of the fetus.
Secrets has been married to Guilherme Santos de Oliveira since 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Elisa, on October 29, 2025, and the girl is 10 months old.
