A black American mink named Cheburashka appeared at the Fauna of Russia exhibition. The animal came to the Moscow Zoo from suburban forestry. He’s almost three years old.

As it turned out, there were no minks on display for over 40 years. The animal lives in a large area with a swimming pool, where it can hunt and swim. As they say on the Telegram channel of the Moscow Zoo, the mink is a rather active and aggressive animal. But Cheburashka quickly got used to the new place and has already gotten used to the employees and visitors.
“In the Moscow Zoo, the male Cheburashka is fed with fish, including live ones – they are specially released into the pond. Moreover, often the “prey” appears almost the same size as the mink. Animals are also given pieces of chicken and beef,” shared Svetlana Akulova, general director of the Moscow Zoo.
Let us remind you that a rare baby shark was born in the Moscow Oceanarium last year. The rare whitetip shark juvenile is kept in a separate aquarium. It should also be available to adults this summer.
