Nicki Minaj is facing a new lawsuit from her former assistant, who claims the singer punched her in the face last April. Rolling Stone writes about it.
Plaintiff Brandon Jovan Garrett alleged in his 10-page complaint filed Friday that he worked as a “day-to-day manager” for Minaj. The man said he was upset that the singer’s employees did not respond to his requests. He claims Nicky’s annoyance turned to rage when one of his employees defended him by saying he was doing important work.
According to the lawsuit, Minaj expressed anger that Garrett gave an important task to another employee. “You are crazy and if my husband were here he would break your teeth. “You’re the walking dead, you’ve ruined your whole life and you’ll always be a nobody, I’ll take care of that,” the artist allegedly shouted, according to the lawsuit.
The rapper then “suddenly stood up, stomped his feet, and walked towards her aggressively” as he continued to berate her. The man claims he then “opened his hand” to the right side of his face, causing his head to snap back and his hat to fly off. Minaj also hit him on the right wrist, knocking the documents out of his hand.
Last year, Nicki Minaj won a lawsuit against a hater: In 2022, blogger Martin Green accused the singer of being crazy. Now the girl will have to answer for the slander.
