While promoting his new project, the 58-year-old actor recalled a “really scary moment” he experienced on the set of Friends. That day, colleague Matt LeBlanc dislocated his shoulder while recording the project.
“During the live taping of the show, Matt had to do something stupid and actually dislocate his shoulder. He turned completely white and stood up, I saw his shoulder dislocated. It looked like he was going to lose consciousness,” David recalled in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
David said he remembers immediately turning to the camera and saying, “Cut, cut, cut.” It was really scary. It was obvious how injured he was. And of course we had to stop shooting that night and he went to the hospital. “It was terrible.”
