It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni was fired from his agency after Blake Lively accused him of sexual harassment in a recent lawsuit. According to Radar Online, the decision to expel the actor was made by the agency’s management this Saturday.
Blake filed a complaint Friday night accusing Baldoni, his production company Wayfarer Studios and others involved in “It Ends With Us” of harassment and “a coordinated effort to discredit him.”
The accusations ranged from inappropriate remarks about Lively’s weight to requests for changes to the script to limit suggestive content. Their conflict initially stemmed from a disagreement regarding the film’s marketing; Blake advocated a more optimistic approach, and Baldoni sought to emphasize the film’s theme of domestic violence.
Despite the actress’ demands being met, the film’s release was still marred by disagreements between the stars over marketing strategies.
Meanwhile, the director’s lawyer has already released a statement in which he refutes all the allegations made in the case and defends his client.
