Tim Burton fans will be able to get a glimpse into the director’s creative world through the eyes of those who know him best, just in time for Halloween, according to Deadline.

Wood Entertainment has released a trailer for the four-part docuseries Tim Burton: Life on the Line, which will be distributed on an exclusive direct-to-stream platform on October 23, following its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024.
The documentary explores the legacy of Tim Burton and his ever-growing fan base of misfits and outsiders. Interviews with some of Burton’s colleagues, including Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Keaton, Danny Elfman, Jenna Ortega, Christoph Waltz, Mia Wasikowska and others, provide a comprehensive portrait of Burton.
Directed by Tara Wood, the film features never-before-seen footage, interviews and illustrations spanning Burton’s early career at Disney, including Batman (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990) and The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), as well as Netflix spin-off The Family Addams’ Wednesday (2022-present).
Meanwhile, Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci, who have been in a relationship for a long time, recently announced their separation.
