Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom, will star in murder drama Murder Before Evening. Deadline reports this.
It is already known that the actor will play the main role – priest Daniel Clement. Lewis’ character lives in a vicarage with his widowed mother and two dachshund dogs. One day, a dead man is found in his church and Daniel begins searching for the killer. Shooting will begin in 2025.
“I am so excited to put on an old dog collar and dive into the world of Champton, charmingly created by Reverend Richard Coles. I have admired his work for a long time and love the characters and stories he writes,” Lewis said.
We previously wrote that the upcoming premiere of the Harry Potter series has been postponed from 2026 to 2027. This is because the team carefully selected actors for the main roles. This also applies to the legendary characters of the Hogwarts faculty.
