Wife reveals Tommy Lee’s unpleasant habit: ‘Common in Europe’

Actress Brittany Furlan said the rocker has a rather unusual habit that many people won’t like. He doesn’t see this as a big problem.

The musician’s wife said Tommy Lee, 62, only showered “once a week” but he was “very clean” and never “disgusted” her. “It’s funny because the guys I dated before him were so sleazy, and that’s a big deal to me,” Brittany said on a new episode of the Off the Vine podcast with Kaitlyn Bristowe. “I am very, very clean. My house looks like a museum… My husband is very clean, which is something people don’t expect from a musician. They expect him to be a nightmare, a dirty man. “He doesn’t wash very often, but he’s very clean,” Furlan added.

The star’s wife explained that Tommy Lee was born in Athens (Greece) and that this was a kind of cultural feature: “As a child, she said that this was a tradition in Europe. You don’t need to shower every day. When they feel that they are getting a little ugly, they wash themselves with a white cloth. My husband showers once a week.” The artist also stated that he was not disgusted by his wife’s habit and said, “No, because he is very handsome. This is just crazy.”

However, she admitted that Pamela Anderson’s ex-husband’s habit of waking up early sometimes bothered her because he woke up at 6.30am and went to bed late, but the star said that she and Tommy Lee live a “wonderful life”: “Every night – it’s a date. We have so much fun. He’s also my best friend.”
