Keira Knightley will no longer appear in franchises. According to The Times, this decision was influenced by the filming of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie.
“It’s funny how something can both create and destroy you. These were the most successful films I had ever starred in, and that was the reason for my public humiliation. So they are in a very confused place in my mind.
“I was perceived as worthless because of them, but because they did such a good job, they gave me the opportunity to act in films for which I was eventually nominated for an Oscar,” he said.
Meanwhile, Keira Knightley was nominated for an Oscar for her roles in Pride and Prejudice and The Imitation Game.
