The creators of ‘Rick and Morty’ have prepared a surprise for the fans of the animated series; The series will be extended for five seasons. Writer Dan Harmon and showrunner Scott Marder announced the news at New York Comic Con.

“I couldn’t be more proud to take on the baton of my life on the fourth season of Rick and Morty and lead us into season ten. Being able to overcome this now is a gift I want to give to our fans. Rick and Morty – a hundred years – forever! Variety quotes Harmon as saying. The author added that there are still plenty of places left to send Rick and Morty.
Let us also remind you that the eighth season of the project will be broadcast in 2025. A trailer for the next episode of the cartoon was shown at Comic Con. It is assumed that the animated series “Rick and Morty” will be released by 2029.
