Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, known for Little Women, Lady Bird and Atonement, told Jimmy Kimmel that she auditioned for the role of Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter.
He wasn’t surprised he didn’t get the role because he was “too young” at the time. “They invited the Irish to audition, so pretty much the whole of Ireland came,” he said.
However, Ronan still regrets not being able to play Luna. “But I had the opportunity to read a scene that was supposed to be in Harry Potter and it was beautiful,” the actress added.
