According to an unnamed source, the singer’s team is in urgent talks to come up with a plan of action in case the star becomes embroiled in an ongoing criminal investigation into her ex-boyfriend. Her aides are also trying to decide whether she will break her silence about Combs’ arrest in connection with the Dec. 27, 1999, shooting deaths of Natanya Reuben and two others outside a Manhattan club.
Recall that Jennifer was held in solitary confinement for 14 hours after being arrested with Combs and his bodyguard. Later, police found a gun in the car they fled the scene in. Lopez was released a few hours later, but Combs, his bodyguard and rapper Jamal “Shine” Barrow were charged. Combs and his bodyguard were later acquitted, but Barrow was found guilty of illegal possession of a weapon. At the time, there were rumors that the man had framed P. Diddy.
P. Diddy was arrested at a hotel the other day. There is no detailed information yet on what specific charges he is facing. The 54-year-old rapper has faced multiple allegations of sexual assault and human trafficking in the past few months. Dwayne Keith Davis, who was also involved in the Tupac Shakur murder, said Combs ordered the legendary artist’s death.
