Confirming he is joining Peaky Blinders, 31-year-old actor Barry Keoghan has admitted he is dreading the start of filming – despite the fact that he is eagerly awaiting the occasion.
According to Keoghan, he was a little out of shape after taking a long break from work. “I want to be involved as much as possible, but I haven’t done that in a long time. It’s time to get out of the cobwebs and get into character. By the way, there were no phones back then, so I’ll have to write letters,” Keoghan jokes to Entertainment Weekly. It didn’t specify who the actor will be playing onscreen.
Recall that in June, Netflix gave the green light to the Peaky Blinders movie. Cillian Murphy will again play the role of the leader of the eponymous Birmingham gangster family Tom Shelby. He will also be a producer. It is known that the plot of the feature film will unfold during the Second World War. Production is expected to begin this year.
