Jennifer Lopez burst into tears at the premiere of Unstoppable, which she presents at the Toronto Film Festival.
Based on a true story, the film tells the story of Anthony Robles, who pursues his dream of becoming a wrestling star and makes it a reality. Jennifer Lopez plays the main character’s mother. At the premiere, she told how she actually met her hero.
“I actually talked to her about how she felt as a mother of a disabled child living with an abuser. She figured it out while raising five children and got a doctorate. I wanted to see the mutual love and commitment that they had,” Lopez said, before putting her hand on her chest and crying.
The film was produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s production house. Ben and JLo were supposed to promote the film together.
