Oasis fans are excited about the legends’ return to the stage, but they are not ready to share their joy with the younger generation of music lovers.
The “old schoolers” are outraged that young people who are not very familiar with Oasis’ work are able to sell out all the tickets. They are demanding that no seats be sold to those who know less than two of the band’s songs. Meanwhile, thanks to the popularity of one of the songs on social networks, the young people are really focused on getting the best seats.
“Why did all these rumours start and suddenly every dog became an Oasis fan? Sorry I can’t get a ticket.” “Suddenly everyone is an Oasis fan this morning, even though they only really know two songs.” “It bothers me that everyone under 25 goes to see Oasis. If you haven’t experienced it the first time, then have some respect and skip the big boys.” “Imagine waiting 15 years for an Oasis reunion, only to lose a ticket to 21-year-old Chloe from Stockport who just wanted to hear someone sing her own song live on air.” People are furious on social media.
Rock band Oasis was incredibly popular in the 90s but failed the test of fame. The band broke up in 2009 due to disagreements between founding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. The first concerts after the reunion are scheduled for July 2025. The musicians plan to play 14 shows in the UK and Ireland, then go on a European tour.
