An unusual story happened in the capital. Last year, a local resident turned to the police, saying that his former partner “illegally detained his property.” Law enforcement did not initiate a criminal case, after which the stubborn girl filed a lawsuit, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the Muscovite, she began living with her boyfriend in April 2023, but two months later they quarreled and the man took the keys to the apartment from her, refusing to return her things until she paid the money that was allegedly lent to her.
In the case, the girl listed everything she wanted to return: branded clothes, black and red patent leather underwear, as well as a variety of shoes from slippers to Louboutin, cosmetics, a sewing machine, an Apple computer, a Dyson hair dryer and hair straighteners, jewelry and bags. The list also included a Yorkshire terrier named Bella, after a black Chanel clutch.
The trial in the Muscovite case lasted a year, but eventually the Basmanny Court ruled in favor of the plaintiff. The man was ordered to return all his belongings and his dog.
