Work has begun on the sequel to the famous series, “John Wick: Under the High Table.” Chad Stahelski will direct. He will also be a producer of the project along with leading actor Keanu Reeves. Robert Levine will write the script.
According to Deadline, Lionsgate, which is producing the multi-part action film, has not yet decided on a channel or streaming service. The action will take place after the events of John Wick: Chapter 4.
A fifth John Wick movie is also in development, but the creators have assured that work on the series will not affect their plans.
The studio is also preparing to release a spin-off, Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas, set between the third and fourth installments of John Wick. It is scheduled to premiere on June 6, 2025.
It was previously known that the John Wick universe would be replenished with a spin-off about the blind assassin Cain.
