Britney Spears’ life story is going to be turned into a movie. A well-known film company has undertaken the film adaptation of the 42-year-old singer’s memoirs.
The film is directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up, the sequel to Wicked) and produced by Marc Platt (Legally Blonde and La La Land).
Britney Spears announced the film adaptation on her own page: “I’m happy to share with my fans that I’m working on a secret project with Marc Platt. He’s made some of my all-time favorite movies… Stay tuned.”
An insider told Page Six that the deal includes the rights to the Princess of Pop’s music catalog and that she will also be involved in the project.
According to the publication, there is no need to wait too long for the book to be published; fans of biographical works will be able to purchase it in the fall. However, the representative explains that the period “may be adjusted depending on the timing of the final execution of the transaction.”
By the way, Britney Spears’ memoirs will soon be published in Russia. Sales are expected to start this fall. Let’s recall that the release date of the book “The Woman Inside Me” coincides with the 25th anniversary of the release of her hit book Baby One More Time on October 23 last year. The most interesting (scandalous) things are collected here.
