New Behind the Scenes of RINGS OF POWER Focuses on Ring Forging

A new behind the scenes has been released for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2, focused on the forging of rings.

There are the 20 Rings of Power forged by Sauron, with the Elves controlling Middle-earth. Cast out by Galadriel, with no army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will.

It’s really interesting to see how these rings were created for the film, and in the process you also learn a little more about them and their place in the story.

Prime Video Season 2 The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power “plunges even its most beloved and vulnerable characters into a growing tide of darkness, challenging each of them to find their place in a world increasingly teetering on the brink of calamity.

“Elves and dwarves, orcs and men, wizards and Harfoots… as friendships are tested and kingdoms begin to fracture, the forces of good fight ever more bravely to hold on to what matters most to them… themselves.”

The series is set “thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’S The Hobbit AND The Lord of the Ringsand will take viewers back to a time when great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the thinnest thread, and the greatest villain Tolkien had ever created threatened to plunge the entire world into darkness.

“Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows a cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared resurgence of evil in Middle-earth.

“From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the Elven capital of Lindon, to the extraordinary island kingdom of Númenor, to the farthest corners of the map, these kingdoms and characters will leave a legacy that will live on long after they are gone.”

The Rings of Power Season 2 debuts August 29th on Prime Video. I’m so excited for this series to return!
