German scientists came to an interesting conclusion. According to the Psychology Spot portal, they found that the child receives intelligence from the mother.
Employees of Ulm University conducted extensive scientific studies and found that information about human mental abilities is encoded in the X chromosome. At birth, two similar chromosomes are passed on from the mother to the baby, while only one chromosome is passed on to the father. That is, the probability of receiving intelligence from a woman is twice as high.
It also turned out that it is the mother who passes on to her children the ability to learn languages, especially memory and thinking. The father’s gene is responsible for emotionality.
At the same time, scientists also rushed to reassure the guys. They noted that in the modern world, emotional intelligence (EQ) means no less than mental abilities and the ability to empathize, as measured by IQ.
