The universe of the animated series “Adventure Time” will expand with three projects

Work has begun on a feature film based on the animated series “Adventure Time”. Additionally, two spin-offs will be released based on the animated project: a film about the childhood of the series’ main character, Finn, and a show for preschoolers about the live BMO console. The project was developed by Cartoon Network Studios.

According to Variety, plot details are being kept top secret. However, it is known that professionals in the field of animation will take part in the project: Steven Universe creator Rebecca Suga, Over the Hedge co-writer Patrick McHale, Emmy award-winning Adam Muto, former producer of the Adventure Time cartoon, Nate Cash and others.

Let’s remember that the animated series “Adventure Time”, created by Pendleton Ward, was broadcast between 2010 and 2018. The story follows the adventures of a 12-year-old boy named Finn and his talking friend Jake, who can expand his body into almost any size and shape. Characters travel in a post-apocalyptic world.

A teaser for the sequel to the animation project “Moana” was previously published on the internet. A film version of the cartoon will also be released, in which Katherine Lagaaia will play the main role.
