Sam Mendes, director of the movie “007: Skyfall”, will shoot four films about the legendary band The Beatles. The biopic is scheduled to be released in 2027.

It is not yet known whether all four films will be released at once or will be released gradually on the big screen. However, the names of some of the actors who will portray the famous quartet have already been announced.

Paul McCartney will be played by Paul Mescal, known for the movie Enemy. Barry Keoghan, who starred in Saltburn, will play the role of Ringo Starr. John Lennon will be played on the big screen by Harris Dickinson, known for the Oscar-winning “Triangle of Sorrow”. Never Let Me Go star Charlie Rowe will portray George Harrison.

Mendes became the first director to acquire full rights to the quartet’s story and music. We previously wrote that color images of the Beatles’ performance, which no one had seen, were published on the internet. This was at the peak of popularity 60 years ago.
