‘This is his way of punishing her for abandoning him’: Brad Pitt continues to fight Angelina Jolie over winery

The dispute between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has reached a new level. The court accepted the actor’s request and asked his ex-girlfriend for the confidentiality documents signed by his employees over the last eight years.

Pitt’s side is confident that this will shed light on the actions of his wife, whose information was hidden thanks to the documents. At the same time, Jolie’s lawyers believe that a completely different goal is being pursued here.

Brad Pitt plans to defend to the end the rights to the castle and winery the couple once owned together. “He knows this will force Angelina to waste resources tracking down large amounts of information. This is just another way to punish her for abandoning him and draining resources,” an insider told PEOPLE.

Angelina Jolie doesn’t give up. According to In Touch, she directly accused her ex-husband of cheating. Jolie claims the castle belongs to them both, but Pitt spent the profits at his own discretion and nearly bankrupted the business because he did not invest.

Let’s remember that former spouses bought a winery even before they were officially married. Brad got 60%, the remaining 40% went to Angelina. They got married on this estate, and then the actor equalized their rights by giving his wife another 10% of the shares. Following the divorce in February 2022, Pitt filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, claiming that the 10% stake he sold was invalid.
