Snob’s editor-in-chief managed to catch up with Basta and talk to him about music, plans and life in general. Vasily Vasilenko (real name of the rapper Note ed.), apparently doesn’t intend to stop there.

The 43-year-old musician admitted that he still feels excited in front of the audience, even though he has spent half his life on stage. “I’m still very scared. And it doesn’t matter whether I go out to sing in front of a stadium or to perform at a corporate event. Tensions still start. But when the music starts playing, everything disappears,” the star said.
Basta admitted that he is now preparing for big albums. “It is important for me to release the third album N1NT3ND0 (“Nintendo” is one of Vasily Vakulenko’s projects – Note ed.) and a recording from the new project “Workers’ Town”, he told the journalist.
The artist noted that he preferred not to interfere with his own rules in someone else’s monastery. “I realized there was no need for advice on ‘The Voice.’ “If people ask for advice or need help and feedback, I will always help,” the rapper explained.

Basta shared his views on current music. “Now is the time to repeat, to copy. There’s Miyagi and Andy Panda, for example – they’re great guys and they’ve got ten iterations of them with them. Same goes for Scriptonite and other popular artists. “Those who copy these do not want to work and take risks,” he said.

The rapper also said that he has become softer over the years. “He was an impossible person when he was young. And now, you know, I’m less angry, I understand better why people act this way or that way. I try to accept the weaknesses of others. I worked hard on it,” Basta concluded.
