Frank Sinatra’s daughter is not against director Martin Scorsese’s intention to make a movie about the legendary singer. The heiress spoke positively about the director.
81-year-old Martin Scorsese wants to make a biopic of Frank Sinatra. The cult director stars his favorite Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role. However, Scorsese does not have the film rights without the approval of the artist’s daughter, Tina Sinatra.

In a chat with TMZ, Tina was evasive but supported the director’s idea. “Marty and I have been dance partners for a long time and he has never stepped on my foot!” – Tina shared.
Ten years ago, Scorsese tried to curry favor with the Sinatra family but was rejected for a film adaptation. Tina did not like that Scorsese decided to touch on the darker aspects of her father’s personality in the film. The director publicly abandoned the idea in 2017, but years later he decided to try his luck again.
Scorsese plans to start working on a new movie after completing the shooting of “The Life of Jesus.” If this biopic is shot, it will be DiCaprio and Scorsese’s seventh film together. They last collaborated on the movie Killers of the Flower Moon.
