Brussels sprouts are generally terrible. It smells like a fart, the flavor is very particular, and physically, it doesn’t make you want it at all. However, it is a delicacy for the health of our body, and it can be good to try eating it.
If your children, or those around you, would rather drink water from a stagnant puddle than swallow one of these green pellets (true story), try to exploit them with this technique. You never know, a misunderstanding could work.
The video recipe for Brussels sprouts parmesan
Here comes this recipe directly from TikTok and was shared by Dr. Jimmy Mohamed. The latter tries the experiment of eating Brussels sprouts by twisting the vegetable and adding parmesan and olive oil. Here is his recipe:
- Peel the Brussels sprouts and place them in a salad bowl
- Pour in the olive oil
- Add a nice handful of grated parmesan
- Mix everything and place it on a baking tray.
Everything is sent to heat for a few minutes at 200°C. The result ? Slightly soft Brussels sprout chips. Obviously, given the small hands serving on the plate, people seem to like it.
Frankly, if it allows kids to eat vegetables without making them sulk, I’ll give it a try! Well, knowing them, you’ll need a pretty large package of parmesan, but you never know, maybe it will work.
