Here’s the trailer for Lionsgate’s upcoming serial killer thriller, Damaged, in which he stars Samuel L. Jackson AND Vincenzo Cassel. The film centers on a Chicago detective, Dan Lawson (Jackson), who travels to Scotland following the resurgence of a serial killer whose murders are similar to an unsolved case that occurred in Chicago five years earlier. While there, Lawson teams up with Scottish detective Glen Boyd (Gianni Capaldi).
The film’s synopsis reads: “How do you capture a shiny monster? When a sadistic killer resurfaces in Scotland, terrified local authorities call in a Chicago police detective who investigated a killing spree with the same horrific pattern 5 years earlier. Samuel L. Jackson and Vincent Cassel star in this shocking thriller about two detectives with tortured pasts who try to stop a ruthless serial killer before he claims his next victim.
If you like watching murder thrillers, then this movie might be worth checking out. The film was directed by Terry McDonough (Breaking Bad, The Expanse, better call Saul), and the cast also includes Laura Haddock, John Hannah, Katie DickieAND Brian McCardie.
Lionsgate will release the film in theaters and on VOD on April 12, 2024.
