There is a new information on Tron: Ares This could remodel the entire franchise and comes directly from the latest number of Empire Magazine.
The relationship sheds light on what is guiding the story of this long -awaited Trequel:
“The Yin at Dillinger’s Yang is Kevin Flynn’s technological society, now led by Eve Kim of Greta Lee. The Dillinger and Eve are both looking for Flynn’s” stay code “, which would allow the existence of digital resources in the real world.”
The “stay code” is officially one thing and its implications are enormous. If you remember the end of Tron: LegacyQuorra, an ISO, entered the real world with Sam Flynn. The stay code now raises a great question: is the existence of Quorra unstable? Could its survival (and perhaps other digital beings) depend on this code?
Director Joachim Rønning He mentioned something in these lines months ago when he has made fun of the allegory inspired by the Pinocchio of the film, focused on a sinister digital protagonist who wanted life beyond the grid. That allegory now has perfect sense since the stay code is essentially the version of the franchise to “become a real boy”.
Interestingly, this concept was made fun of before. An set photo shared by Rønning on Instagram showed the word “stay” on a script page. Now, it is clear that this is the foundation of the central conflict of the film.
If the stay code can attract cycles of light, awards or even whole programs in reality? This is a turning point. Imagine a world in which grilled technology becomes physical, opening the doors to the main moral and existential dilemmas, exactly the type of great science fiction ideas Tron thrives.
But the real mystery is what this means for Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) and quorra (Olivia Wilde). They were out of the grid (literally) for 15 years, and now we have been asking ourselves:
Did Quora survived without this code of stay? Is the code of stay the key to its existence continues? Or, has the worst scenario already went?
Nobody involved in production has confirmed or denied their return, but this new detail makes their absence or presence, much more interesting.
The stay code could redefine the Tron Universe, the border between digital and physical reality shows off and finally respond to what happened after that fateful tour of Alba at the end of the inheritance.
