Julia Roberts admitted that she wasn’t ready to play Anna in the cult movie Notting Hill and was considering turning down the role.
“Honestly, one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was play a movie actor (in Notting Hill – Ed.), I was so uncomfortable!” – said the Hollywood star in an interview with Vogue.
He revealed that it wasn’t easy for him during filming. “I almost couldn’t get into the role because I thought it was so weird, I didn’t even know how to play this person,” he said.
By the way, Nicole Kidman previously admitted that she wanted to try herself in this role, but could not pass the selection. “I really wanted the role that Julia Roberts played in Notting Hill,” she said in a 2021 interview.
