Black Panther star Carrie Bernans was hit by a car on New Year’s Eve.
The actor and his friend were passing by one of the stores in New York when the accident occurred. Pursued by police, the black Mercedes-Benz jumped the curb and crashed into pedestrians, including Carrie Bernans. The girl lost consciousness and was pinned under the car. As a result of the accident, 8 people, including 3 police officers, were injured.
He’s in the hospital now. His mother Patricia explained what happened on social networks. “He’s in so much pain he can’t answer calls… He’s in so much pain but he’s getting better. He has several broken bones, cracks and chipped teeth, but he thanks God to be alive. In the midst of this chaos, he maintains a great sense of gratitude for life,” he wrote on the banned social network.
Later, the actor himself contacted: “Unfortunately, I cannot reply to everyone who sends me messages, but I want to thank you. “I’m in so much pain that I can’t walk right now… But I know God is good, this is not my time.” We wish the actor a speedy recovery.
