Hello to all fashion lovers! Your fashion editor is here. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to keep an online journal where I would note the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are often called personal, mine is open to all readers – so you will be aware of the most interesting things.

There is less and less time left for the new year, which means that everyone is slowly starting to assess the situation, prepare a list of plans for the next year and, of course, buy gifts for their closest ones. However, brands offer us to feel the holiday atmosphere as much as possible by publishing very atmospheric campaigns. Simon Porte Jacquemus, who posted a photo of cute dogs on a banned social network, coped with the task with a solid A+. But that wasn’t the only topic talked about this week. For example, the main news on Thursday was the appointment of Gosha Rubchinsky to the position of chief designer of the Kanye West brand. Well, let’s not forget Virgo Cassel’s new shoot for V Magazine.

There were really many interesting events this week, so I suggest you take a short digital journey with me into the latest news from the world of fashion and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we begin?

Masterpeace never ceases to surprise with its new collections and campaigns. So this time the muses of the Russian brand were Angelina Strechina, Anita Pudikova and Irina Astakhova. Three heroines became the personification of creative energies (theatre, ballet and poetry). In each of these, the Masterpeace brand sees the embodiment of its philosophy: bright energy, extraordinary femininity, the desire to express oneself through creativity and undeniable talent. And each represents the essence of one of the most versatile artistic fields.

The key role in the New Year’s capsule is given to ballet tulle dresses, which are the brand’s signature piece, have been included in every collection since the day it was founded, and come to life with new variations. Meanwhile, theatre, which is the main line of all Masterpeace collections, is also reflected in the decline. For New Year’s Eve, Evgenia Linovich suggests trying a feminine velvet dress with an open back and lace on the shirt front, or a dramatic midi dress with revealing embroidery, an open back and a gorgeous rose at the waist.

The bag is a very important part of the holiday look, so you should never ignore it. Firstly, the accessory will complement and complete your outfit, and secondly, you will not have to hold your phone in your hand all evening. Where can you find a trendy bag model? We recommend you to take a look at the collection codenamed Diamond by the Russian brand Moveli. The festive gift included four handbags of different colors, decorated with rhinestones. With such an accessory you will definitely be the star of the New Year’s Eve.

We advise all fans of the Russian brand Red September to prepare, because from December 15 to 17 the team is holding a Friends and Family Sale – an offline sale of the current collection, archive models and samples. In the showroom, you will find samples at very affordable prices, discounts of up to 80% compared to previous seasons, and the opportunity to be the first to purchase products from the FW23 collection at a discount before the New Year’s sale starts. Our fashion department also recommends that you definitely check out Kazakova Street because this is the ideal time and place for fashionistas to buy New Year’s gifts for their family and loved ones.

Not only children but also adults dream of a magical mood on New Year’s Eve. It seems like the Age Of Innocence team understands this like no one else. So, on December 10, the youngest friends of the brand and their parents gathered in Turandot to immerse themselves in the holiday atmosphere, snow-covered fir trees and fairy-tale characters.

The highlight of the holiday was the snow-white lush spruce, which (just wait a minute!) garlanded 1,500 meters, sparkling with millions of lights. The Christmas tree was decorated with 376 icicles, created using a unique technique of hand-shaping glass without the use of moulds, in collaboration with the artist Marina Novitskaya and the Masterpiece bureau. By the way, it is worth noting that all guests followed the dress code and came to the celebration wearing Age Of Innocence shoes. Among the guests were Marusya Fomina, Yana Kushner, Polina Kitsenko, Anna Khudoyan, Maria Lobanova and many more. So the magic was felt 100%.

How to dress for the New Year for those who do not like sequins, rhinestones, feathers and fringe? Our answer: Check out the holiday collection of Russian brand Mellow. After all, even on the eve of the celebration, the brand does not change its concise and comfortable aesthetics: Designers have definitely added some elegance to things, but these are still universal and discreet models that can be worn after the New Year. New items include translucent loose-fitting shirts, trousers with asymmetrical buckles, two long skirts – a flowing skirt sewn on bias tape and an A-line model with a wedge train. And also four dress styles: a silhouette with tassels at the bottom, a belted maxi, and a wrap dress with folded pleats that mimic the delicate fabric. The capsule also included three bra tops with asymmetrical, thin and wide straps. Everything you need for an overall trendy look.

St. Petersburg brand Arny Praht has long been producing not only fashionable bags, but also clothes. The team recently unveiled a New Year’s collection codenamed Party Core. Partygoers will definitely love the Tusa sweetheart bodice, Chick semi-nude dress with contrast layers, and accented flowy Jusa skirt. Meanwhile, items in the series feature bright styles that don’t go overboard. You may see references to trends in these, but only those that align with the brand and have a long-term foundation.

The Fashion Vibes fashion department closely follows all collaborations of Russian brands and tells you about the brightest and most memorable ones. This time, we were pleased with the Qari Qris jewelry brand. The brand team presented a collaboration with artist Masha Egorova, who creates unusual clay sculptures. The collaboration is based on the designers’ innovative idea of combining the plasticity of two materials – clay and silver. The result was gems with viscous forms that appeared to continue crystallizing. The addition of enamel to some products makes them a real “hybrid” work of art at the intersection of bold pop art and gentle naivety.

Qari Qris designer Anastasia Davydova used the artist’s sketches to develop jewelry forms that turned out to be lively and plastic. And these forms seem to continue to crystallize, changing in a malleable way under the influence of the designers’ hands and imagination. The soft plasticity of clay can be noticed in silver products that look more like small sculptures than ordinary jewelry. Our favorite from the collection, the voluminous vase pendant, is definitely on our New Year’s wish list.

Tenderness of touch and tenderness of close contact – for the Russian pps brand these are not just words, but a way of interacting with the world. The team always tries to express emotions openly and give others the opportunity to reflect on it. So, a “touching” art object appeared near the boutique on Tverskaya – a huge Fluffy “PE”.

And now this place is a point of attraction for everyone who wants to literally touch the brand and get a dose of dopamine. Touching, taking photos, making love, creating mind-blowing content and expressing your uniqueness by sharing it with others and not being ashamed to be real – any interaction is possible with Fluffy “PE”. By the way, the brand also decided to organize a drawing; You can find more details on the official pps website.

Last Sunday, the second boutique of the resale platform Oskelly opened in a historical building on Kuznetsky Most. By the way, the area itself previously belonged to Countess Vorontsova and was an apartment building. Therefore, the Oskelly team decided to preserve the originality of the location without changing the brickwork and ceiling relief. The historical past combined with the modern interior decorated in black and white creates a unique space for lovers of luxury and style. The new area will feature unique lots of the world’s leading luxury brands. That’s why we recommend you take a walk on Kuznetsky Most and go to a boutique for shopping.

Let’s be friends?
