Norwegian author and 2023 Nobel Prize in Literature winner Jun Fosse misspelled the word “literature”.

The fact is that when the author signed a chair in the restaurant of the Nobel Museum, he wrote a “t” instead of a double (literary). Before that, the Nobel celebrations in Stockholm were signed by French writer Annie Ernault.
“Of course, I know how to write ‘literature’ in Norwegian – perhaps the English spelling (literature) was a bit confusing. But I can live with that,” Fosse later commented in response to the publication.

Let us remind you that Jun Fosse is a Norwegian author who has published approximately 40 books in various genres and has been translated into many languages. His plays have been staged nearly 800 times in Europe.
