The Wilkerson kids are back together again! Frankie Muniz just gave fans a nostalgic jolt with a new photo from the set of the upcoming film Malcolm in the middle awakening, showing him reunited Christopher Masterson AND Justin Berfieldwho return as Francis and Reese.

The funny caption is a nod to the show’s iconic theme song “Boss of Me” by They Might Be Giants, which famously declares, “You’re not my boss now!”
The revival, which will arrive on Disney+ in December, marks the first time Malcolm in the middle the cast has been on screen together for nearly two decades.
In addition to Muniz’s return as the gifted but perpetually exasperated middle child, Bryan Cranston AND Jane Kaczmarek they return as chaotic parents Hal and Lois. Caleb Ellsworth Clark joins the family as Dewey, taking on the role originally played by Erik Per Sullivan.
The four-episode limited series from 20th Television and New Regency is timed to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary. Muniz finished filming earlier this year, sharing that reprising the role was like stepping back into Malcolm’s shoes.
Story details reveal that the revival will follow Malcolm and his daughter, played by Keeley Karstenas they are dragged into the familiar family chaos when Hal and Lois demand everyone’s presence for their 40th wedding anniversary.
It’s safe to say that fans are just as excited as Muniz to see the Wilkersons together again.
